PENLAB is an open-source code and can be downloaded here. PENLAB was developed in cooperation with NAG Ltd.

PENOPT prices are given without VAT. EU customers should provide their VAT number or add 19% VAT to the listed price. Customers in Germany must add 19% VAT (MwSt).

All prices are given in Euro currency.

The prices are one-time fees for a perpetual license of the current versions of the codes.

Evaluation licenses

• An academic evaluation license is available to academic users. This license expires after 180 days. The price of this license is 100 €. This price will apply as a credit towards the purchase price of the academic license, provided the license is purchased within 30 days of expiration of the evaluation license.


• A commercial evaluation license is available to commercial users. This license expires after three months and cannot be renewed. The price of this license is 200 €. This price will apply as a credit towards the purchase price of the commercial license, provided the commercial license is purchased within 30 days of expiration of the evaluation license.

"Academic" users are universities and other higher education institutions, governmental research institutes, and non-profit organizations. All other users are "commercial". "Commercial-department" prices also include companies with less than 50 employees.

PENSDP, PENBMI and PENNON are also available as MATLAB toolboxes through TOMLAB Optimization Inc. The Tomlab optimization environment for MATLAB, compilable with MCC and MIDEVA, is a flexible, easy-to-use, robust and reliable environment for the solution of most types of applied optimization problems.
